You See, I’ve Been There Myself.

When I first started writing my own Ezine, 6 months or so into my business I was doing it the wrong way.  I sent out my Ezine through Outlook and put everyone into a distribution list that I could insert into the TO field.  Yes, I first sent it in the TO field.  I learned that lesson quick.

So, then my list grew, and grew and soon I had over 11 different distribution lists going in Outlook because each of them only allowed for so many addresses right?  Plus, Outlook would only let me send one distribution list the Ezine at a time so I had to sit by my computer for over an hour pressing send/receive over and over and over again.  What a waste of my time!

I didn’t even know mind you if any of my emails were getting opened, read or even acted upon because I had no way to track them other than noticing the failed emails that came back.
