I'm Katrina Sawa, The JumpStart Your Biz Coach, and I'm telling you this is true. You have to redesign your business if you've been in business for a while now - it's time to implement new business models, multiple streams of income, online marketing and more!
If you're just starting out - you CANNOT AFFORD to do things like you've been shown in the past. You cannot do things like 'everyone else' or you'll waste a bunch of time and money doing the wrong things and be out of business before you know it!
Many of you could be thinking it's time of doom and gloom and you're scared to do more in your business or start something new during this time but you have to STOP THINKING THAT WAY!
STOP watching the news, listening to the media and surrounding yourself with negative thinking people! Seriously, where is that really going to get you?
I'm telling you that you may not see it right now from where you sit or from what you've been experiencing but you CAN DEFINITELY have the business AND the lifestyle you’ve always wanted; you can think, dream and play bigger than ever before (even in this economy) - YOUR time is NOW! I know because that’s what I did and what hundreds of my coaching clients have done.
You see, a few short years ago I was working hour for dollar with clients in a typical consulting business plus I was actually doing much of the work for many of my clients myself.
I had clients on retainer, some month to month and some just paid me when they needed me. All of my income however depended on how many hours I worked. Can you relate?
Obviously with that type of model it was hard to ever get ahead. Yes of course I could keep raising my rates and I did, little by little of course though as to not tip over the apple cart so to speak. But I realized it would take me years to save for retirement or even be able to start contributing beyond what was already in there from a previous 401K or IRA. Still sounding familiar?
Plus, in addition to that, I was living in an unhappy marriage with a husband who wasn't very supportive of me being an entrepreneur. He was always worried about if I was making enough money to support our lifestyle, if it would keep coming in and he would worry when I wanted to spend money and invest it back in my business (although he had no idea about what I did or what it takes to make it run, market it, etc.).
Not too supportive huh? My hope is that that scenario DOESN'T sound familiar to you but I do unfortunately see this all the time with my coaching clients and it literally breaks my heart. Because I broke free of that marriage in 2005 and have increased my business every year since.
That's when I found a new way to do business. A new business model. And as soon as I learned about it and the kind of freedom it gave those around me I immediately decided to CHANGE EVERYTHING!
I let go of all my retainer clients or weaned them off as soon as they would let me or we could find a replacement ‘to do it girl’. I doubled my rates and developed new programs and services to leverage my time. (LEVERAGE being the key word here….)
I got divorced and surrounded myself with only positive people and people who would support me and encourage me in my big vision.
Now I live the life of my dreams and it keeps just getting better every day, opportunities keep opening up for me all over the place (ones that I wouldn’t even of had time to recognize when I was working the old model). I work only when I say so and with who I say so and for how much I say so and that’s it. (That just made me think of my favorite movie, Pretty Woman… “I say who, I say when, I say who”; I love that movie.)
But this is important for you to read (and most importantly to 'hear') because if you're still trading hours for dollars, or still working in a job that you hate or feel like there's more to life than what you're living now even if you're already in your own business….then YOU'RE RIGHT!
Now, I'm not talking about getting you to set up one of those 'hypy sales type sites' or one without any interaction with your customers, no, no, no....
Of course there needs to be interaction with your customers, that's how this all works so well. I call it "Relationship Marketing". You can still build relationships over the internet and phone and in groups or 1-on-1, but you want to learn how to do it differently than you may have been taught before because you do also have to 'sell' your products or services once you create this new model, Your Ultimate Lifestyle Business!
But don't worry if you hate making cold calls or don't necessarily like 'selling' because that's the beauty of this Love and Money Business Model is truly about building relationships and keeping in touch with them at all times in order to generate sales (more than you've ever dreamed of in fact!).
There is a way. You may not be able to see it right now from where you're sitting. It may seem like TOO BIG OF A DREAM to you because maybe you were never 'conditioned' to THINK THAT BIG.
But that's why you hire a coach like me! (or learn from my do-it-yourself business building products) I guarantee you – one hour of talking to me – and you'll begin to see the light. You’ll begin to see 'what’s possible' --- yes, even for YOU!!! And you’ll even be blown away at what huge things really ARE POSSIBLE! I’ve seen and been introduced and trained in many different types of business models, both online and offline.

- But you first have to DECIDE to have it all. This is usually what stops us...
- Next you have to BELIEVE it’s actually possible (for many, this is the hardest part and I help you with this too – the marketing doesn’t matter without the right mindset that YOU DO DESERVE IT, You deserve to have a better, happier life that's more fulfilled and profitable!!!).
- Then you have to be ready and willing to TAKE THE ACTION STEPS it takes to get there.
Much of this takes your time mostly and a little financial investment but if you learn how to set your business up THE RIGHT WAY THE FIRST TIME then you won’t waste a bunch of money or time in the wrong places with the wrong messages to the wrong people!
I want to see you build this the right way the first time. It pains me to see people skimp on things like their website development and other start up necessities the first time around because inevitably before you know it you have to revamp it all anyway and then you’re so much farther ‘behind’ on your own success!
So, whether you’re starting up a new business in something you’re passionate about, thinking about leaving a job and trying to figure out what kind of business you could start or even if you’ve been running your own business now for some time but you realize it’s time for some BIG CHANGES… this website (and me) will be one of the best resources you’ve found yet!
